Privacy Policy
Effective September 7, 2026
Sprint is a daily reading app. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do not do.
What we collect
- Without an account: nothing that identifies you. Your reading pace, streak and results are stored on your phone only.
- With an account: your email address, a handle you choose, and your reading results (which story, how fast, how many questions right). We use these to keep your results across devices and to show your progress.
- If you buy Plus: Apple handles payment. We receive a transaction record from Apple to unlock Plus. We never see your card.
- Technical: our server logs requests (time, path, response code) for up to 30 days to keep the service running.
- How the app is used: we send usage events to Mixpanel, an analytics service, so we can see which parts of Sprint work and which do not: for example that a story was opened, finished, or quit, the reading speed reached, whether the question was answered right, and whether the paywall was seen. Each event carries a random device identifier and, if you are signed in, your account id and handle. We do not send your email address, and we do not use this data for advertising or to track you across other apps or sites.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not use your reading to train any model.
Where it lives
Data is stored on servers in the United States (Render and Neon). It is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Deleting your data
Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and every result, immediately and permanently. Without an account, deleting the app deletes everything.
Children
Sprint is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
